Overview
ACCRETECH SBS, Inc., is a world leader in Automatic Balancing and process control solutions for grinding machines. The company designs, manufactures and markets the SBS system: a simple and reliable solution for in-process dynamic balancing of precision grinding machines.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee, optimize, and execute our end-to-end supply chain and purchasing activities. Operating from our Portland headquarters, this role is responsible for driving supply chain efficiency, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that our production pipeline aligns seamlessly with customer demand. The ideal candidate brings a blend of tactical execution (purchase order management, ERP data integrity) and strategic problem-solving to foster a lean, continuous-improvement culture.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track purchase order deliveries actively, aggressively mitigating supply chain disruptions and factors that threaten production timelines.
  • Drive supply chain problem-solving and formal escalation processes when supplier deliveries, lead times, or part quality fail to meet standards.
  • Maintain absolute data integrity within our ERP system (ECI M1) to reflect real-time production schedules, lead times, and inventory levels.
  • Interface directly with Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to coordinate schedule creation, communicate progress updates, and execute corrective action recommendations.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and continuously improve supplier performance, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Analyze historical inventory and manufacturing data to develop accurate material requirement projections and demand planning models.
  • Execute purchase orders for assigned component classes, raw materials, and assembly items to support production schedules.
  • Identify, document, and implement actionable opportunities for continuous process improvement within the purchasing and inventory lifecycle.
  • Support the incoming inspection process to ensure all delivered materials meet strict engineering and quality standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field (an equivalent combination of formal education, relevant certifications like APICS-CSCP will also be taken into consideration).
  • Proficiency utilizing manufacturing ERP software; hands-on experience with ECI M1 is highly sought.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office with strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven capacity to manage competing priorities, execute complex workflows, and handle multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills paired with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and deal effectively with members at all levels of the organization.
  • Good judgment with a deep commitment to supply chain ethics and the ability to make timely, sound decisions.
  • Flexible and innovative team player with a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
