About Ria

Hey! My name is Ria Jain and I am currently a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying Global Studies with an Environmental Health & Asia Concentration + Business potentially. I love learning interdisciplinarily and would definitely call myself a STEAM person as I grew up combining my love for science and the arts to hopefully change the world one day. I am especially eager to take more opportunities to study abroad, fighting for social justice, furthering my education, and broadening my global network. I take great inspiration from the architect Shigeru Ban 茂番, working towards cultivating disaster relief structures in a sustainable manner. I also have a keen interest in Applied Sciences and Engineering Design to combine methods of art and technology! I look forward to getting in touch!

In my free time, I love art, dance, singing, cinematography, playing any sport, forensic analysis, and learning languages. Simply trying to make the most out of life :)
