Qurratul Ain Sanjida

Hello! My name is Qurratul Ain Sanjida and I’m majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of California, Berkeley. As a person coming from a very diverse and prestigious background, I believe that we only bring positive change to the world when we constantly put effort into improving ourselves as human beings and extending our hands to others. Keeping that in mind, I founded an organization called Golden Childhood for the underprivileged but extraordinary children back in the village of Narayanpur in Bangladesh. To give the children a brighter future and bring light to break the shackles of illiteracy, we are talking to them, supplying study materials, and clothes for festivals, and workshops, and having first-hand interaction with professionals from diverse backgrounds. On top of that, I’ve been a leader and contributor to many organizations, including being a Product Manager at Meetarts, a teacher at Microsoft TEALS, an officer of the Bangali Student Association, a UC Berkeley Peer Advisor and orientation mentor, and much more! My passion comes from joining people together to make a difference in the world, and I want to foster and provide my technical and creative skills to projects that offer tangible good to the world around me. In the future, I would love to lead a team to use Generative AI to develop creative and artistic projects/pieces, in a software engineering or product management position. I want to achieve my dream with your support, and I’d love to work together to achieve our goals!
