M.Sc. Student in Chemical Biotechnology - Technical University of Munich | Modelling and Simulation Intern | Recipient of Deutschlandstipendium 2024/25
A master's student in Chemical Biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich, I specialise in electrobiotechnology, sustainable energy technologies, process engineering, and enzymatic research. I possess hands-on experience in the mathematical modelling and simulation of biological electrochemical systems through my research internships and student job.
I graduated in Chemical Engineering from TKM College of Engineering in 2023. My interest in energy development also led me to minor in Electrical Engineering. During my undergraduate studies, I was not only academically driven, which helped me secure the fifth highest GPA in chemical engineering across the State of Kerala, but also made sure to make myself an all-rounded student. Thus, I was active in many technical student chapters, college clubs and events, and took up leadership, mentorship, documentation, and graphic design responsibilities.
I am keenly interested in programming, creative writing, debating and Model UN. I speak five languages and firmly believe that celebrating and accepting diversity is crucial for scientific advancement. After all, to understand the world and to make it better, one must understand and bring out the best in the people around them.

I am working in the process design sub-team of the 'Blue Harvest' project, which focuses on desalination using ion-concentration polarisation. Skills: Chemical Engineering · Microsoft Office

Working in the Electrobiotechnology Professorship of TUM Campus Straubing as part of LiveSen, a start-up focused on developing biosensors to be distributed to farmers to enable the easy and accurate detection of nitrates, phosphates and potassium. My main responsibility is taking the lead in analysing the sensor model and developing theory-based methods to aid experimentalists in their work. Additionally I engage in electrode assembly and evaluation in the laboratory. Skills: Modeling and Simulation · COMSOL · MATLAB · Laboratory Skills · Device Characterization
I am working on the mathematical modelling and simulation-centric project ‘Theoretical Evaluation of Redox-Active Hydrogels for the Enzymatic Oxidation of Methanol to Formaldehyde’ under the supervision of Dr. Darren Buesen in the Professorship of Electrobiotechnology, chaired by Prof. Dr. Nicolas Plumeré, at TUM Campus Straubing. The project is part of a collaboration at TUM Campus Straubing between the Professorship of Electrobiotechnology, the Professorship of Chemical Process Engineering chaired by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jakob Burger, and the Chair of Chemistry of Biogenic Resources chaired by Prof. Dr. Volker Sieber. Skills: Electrobiotechnology · Modeling and Simulation · COMSOL · LyX · LaTeX
