About Julie

While attending university, I realized that success is when opportunity meets preparation.

Success doesn't just come and find you; you have to be proactive about it. Growing up I always knew I wanted more in life, that I was destined to stand out. But while I was growing up, because I was the oldest in my family, as well as a first-generation American, I had no idea what opportunities were available for me to obtain the dream lifestyle that I've always wanted: where I could have more choices of what I wanted to do with my own time and money.

Throughout my journey of trying to find ways of controlling both my time and money, not only did I invest in personal development to grow my leadership & soft skills, I gained valuable technical experience by taking the Full Stack Development program at Coding Dojo. I completed 3 full stacks--Python, Java, & MERN (full stack JavaScript; MongoDB, Express, React, & Node) within 8 months as well as completed various projects on the side to practice and master the languages that I have learned.

Aside from working on my main career path as an upcoming full-stack developer, I also run my own business on the side because core values are what drive you to do the things that you do. I've come to realize that my true core values in life are family, love, happiness, loyalty, and unity, which in order to fully align with them, requires both an abundance of time and money. I'm passionate about helping other people define their core values as well as bring out the best version of themselves as well as look forward to leveraging my technical experience to make a positive impact in the world.
