Short contract working with Casio’s US R & D Center to develop a software prototype to teach children how to read and write music using MIMIO hardware technologies.
Contracted for two projects: D.U.D.E and performance metrics. The D.U.D.E. application was used to update drivers for any 3dfx video card or 3dfx approved application installed on the user’s machine via the Internet. Implementation included: custom based scripting language, http communications and downloads, server-based architectures, and PKWare compression technologies. The Performance metrics project was an application to demonstrate the performance metrics of new 3dfx video cards from within windows.

Contracted for several projects: a customized Internet browser and 5 Shockwave games. The custom browser included restricting users to YSN approved URLs, logging into a customized ‘Broad Vision’ server, dial-up connections, and retrieving media from a CD-ROM instead of downloading from a YSN server. The 5 Shockwave games were ‘Smashball’, ‘Soccer Shoot Out’, ‘Bag This’, ‘Basketball’, ‘Baseball Score Keeping’.
