I thrive at the intersection of technology and creativity. My journey has taken me through various roles where I have had the privilege of leading talented teams to develop innovative solutions in the cybersecurity space. At Amazon’s Traffic Engineering, I have been able to dive deep into complex challenges while fostering an environment where collaboration thrives. It’s incredibly rewarding to see ideas transform into products that make a real difference. Before Amazon, I spent four years at Equinix as a Engineering leader at the incubation engine. Here, I led the development of SmartKey—Equinix's first SaaS service—and Precision Time as a Service while exploring emerging technologies that pushed boundaries in edge technologies. One of my proudest moments was spearheading an open-source project focused on Kubernetes EMS secrets encryption; it’s exciting to contribute to something that benefits the broader tech community. My earlier experiences at Vormetric allowed me to architect new product initiatives in data security while managing global teams. I have always believed that effective leadership is about empowering others; during my time there, we launched several successful products that addressed evolving data protection needs. In addition to my professional endeavors, I am passionate about staying connected with the tech community. Whether it’s attending meetups or sharing insights through talks and workshops, I enjoy exchanging ideas with fellow innovators. Outside of work, you might find me restringing tennis racquets or exploring new hiking trails in the Redwoods — both activities fuel my creativity.
