About

Amy Li was diagnosed with Stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer in the prime of life. Arts and Health practices (A&H: Music, dance, and arts) accelerated her recovery, astonished her doctors, and inspired her to invent Dance4Healing, a patented AI telehealth platform that pairs older adults, people with chronic diseases, and caregivers, with compatible buddies to build fun lasting healthy habits through personalized recorded and live video A&H classes (imagine YouTube, Zoom, and eHarmony for health buddies). Dance4Healing has won >20 awards, including AARP's CES Annual Pitch "People's Choice Award," and was one of the 10 Diversity & Inclusion startups to exhibit at CES 2023, where they launched a study funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, focus on increasing health equity. Amy also founded the Stage IV {Wicked Wisdom} Multi-Media Platform, which includes her upcoming book, a web magazine, and an "Expert's Voice" interview series. She is currently in Harvard Medical School Effective Writing for Health Care program to take this platform to the next level. At age 12, Amy won 1st prize in a county-wide speech contest, honing her stage performance skills and sparking her confidence in accomplishing anything. As a young immigrant in the US, Amy sold pots & pans to fund college and was selected for a top design program nationwide. In 2007, she climbed Mt. Whitney; in 2011, she ran a marathon. Her tenacity shaped her into an influential Human Centered Design (HCD) and behavior strategy expert, with 20 years of experience for global brands like Yahoo, AT&T, VW, and Sony, earning AT&T multiple AI and voice recognition patents. A full scholarship graduate from Singularity University and an executive advisor of Humanity+ (known for AI, biohacking, and longevity), her non-profit work was lauded by TIME magazine and major Chinese media. Amy serves on the American Psychological Association COVID-19 task force and is 1 of the first 2 Asian female leaders selected for the Cultural of Health Leadership Institute for Racial Healing, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation program. Amy was a keynote speaker and feature inventor at USPTO’s Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration and is a speaker/Envoy at the Global South Arts in Health Week (2023 Egypt, 2024 Qatar), supported by WHO. Specialties: Design thinking, User-Centered Design, Branding, Innovation, UX Strategy, Usability Testing, User Research, Competitive Analysis, Persona/Scenario Development, Heuristic Evaluation, Card Sorting, Graphic Design, SEO.
