About

I am a business strategy and operations leader on a quest to make the world a better place to work, drawing from a deep bench of experience with a Big 3 consulting firm and years as an award-winning story-teller and journalist. My holistic approach to revenue growth, people development and culture-building is rooted in a background in Anthropology. Through an MA in Journalism and years reporting from the US, China and Germany, I learned to break down complex analyses into compelling stories. After I left journalism, my Wharton MBA in Global Strategy & Venture Innovation and Master of International Studies prepared me to move into the global business world. As a Principal consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, I led engagements in global innovation. I consulted with the Gates Foundation on global health strategies, helped define the Future of Work for Massachusetts, and developed international market entry strategies for cross-border eCommerce markets. In 2018, I became North America Business Management Director for BCG’s data science consulting startup, GAMMA, tasked with driving all aspects of the business from strategy to execution for 120 consulting staff across 10 sites. As the effective General Manager / COO of North America, I was responsible for growing the business at double-digit rates. I am now the SVP of Customer and People Experience at Mixpanel, a pioneer in product analytics. I own the customer and employee experience end-to-end from beginning to end, which includes the Sales, Customer Success, Field Marketing, Partnerships and People & Culture organizations. I continue to play a pivotal role in strategy and steering the company's long-term direction towards double-digit growth and profitability. The common threads throughout my career are asking the right questions, turning data into stories, developing trusted relationships, enabling teams to do their best work and acting as a strategic change agent. I have a proven track record in helping companies, non-profits and government agencies design and achieve high impact strategies and have a passion for creating and sustaining change for my teams and the world. With a global perspective, I’ve lived in 13 cities on 3 continents (so far) and speak Mandarin. If you would like to connect or if there is any way I can help you, please feel free to reach out!
