Aditi Chandratre

Hello, I am Aditi Sumedh Chandratre, a Sr Engineer at Amgen. I lead the development, validation, and qualification of physical GMP test method for CCI of vials and syringes. I manage multiple projects and ensure the project tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule following company procedures. I collaborate with different Amgen sites, cross functioning teams, vendors, quality, IT for timely delivery of tasks and project progress. Identified issues working on validation of test method and developed solutions to improve efficiency and ensure project success.

Working as a research assistant at USC, I have successfully created cost estimation sheets for calculating manufacturing costs of parts manufactured using processes: Injection Molding, Sheet Metal Forming, Casting, Machining, Metal Additive Manufacturing. I have also created cost estimation sheets for assembly cost calculation for manual and automated assemblies. I have researched and identified design rules for manufacturing processes based on principles of DFM and DFA.

I got an opportunity to work as a Mechanical Engineer in the oil and gas industry with an industry experience of around 3 years in design, analysis and quality assurance. I designed and procured static mechanical equipment: 32 Pressure Vessels, 7 Filters & spares, worth $5M for an EPC project.

My experience covers a broad range of engineering subjects, such as Mechanical Vibrations, Machine Design, Finite Element Analysis, Strength of Materials, Heat transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics.

Apart from academics, I also like to pursue my hobbies which include playing basketball and singing. I have represented my state, Maharashtra in Basketball at the national level thrice and have been bestowed by the captaincy once. This taught me the importance of team work and support in any project.
