About
In December 2022, I helped found Revolear where we are building a SaaS Application on AWS using Typescript, Node.js, React, and a plethora of AWS Services, to reimagine the dealmaking process for selling complex solutions. Our Digital Deal Platform allows sales teams to structure and price sophisticated commercial transactions, and then collaborate with their customer's teams in the cloud. Before that, I finished college as an Economics Major and started a career as a Financial Analyst of Insurance Companies at a California Regulatory company. In my free time, I began programming which ended up being 1000% more fun than Insurance regulation. After several years of learning programming on my own, I was very lucky to join a startup called A Bit Lucky which was acquired by Zynga in the weeks after I joined. We built Unity games for iOS and my specific focus was on build automation / testing and platform feature integrations including Tracking / Analytics and Payments. Here I was again very lucky to learn from a manager and other engineers who promoted all the best practices of Software Development that I hadn't used at all on my own. Two years later I joined Vlocity, creating Industry specific Salesforce applications, as the first more junior engineer. My expertise became the Salesforce platform itself and my team was responsible for building the core Vlocity Platform used across Industries which later became known as OmniStudio. As a manager and individual contributor, I specifically led the architecture and development of DataRaptor, Integration Procedures, and Vlocity DX / CLI, which are No / Low Code tools targeted at solving complex business processes. When Vlocity was acquired by Salesforce in 2020, I moved into an architecture and individual contributor role where I helped drive the migration of OmniStudio from a Managed Package built on top of Salesforce written in Apex, to part of the Salesforce Platform itself written in Java.
