What you'll do: Senior Product Manager in the Platforms and Products will…

ZAIDYN is ZS' high growth product portfolio covering Commercial, Medical, Patient Engagement and Clinical verticals. The product is used by many 25 Large Pharma and Emerging Pharma and deployed to hundreds of thousands of Sales Reps across 70+ countries. ZS has been a pioneer in several areas with 40+ years of history and a strong reputation.

Incentive Compensation (IC) is one of the largest and most consequential commercial functions in Large Pharma, managing $Bs in annual payouts across hundreds of plans and tens of thousands of sales reps. Our IC product team is embedding agentic AI into the core of plan design, operations, and field support workflows, and this role is central to turning that roadmap into shipped, adopted capability.

What you’ll bring:

We seek an experienced Senior Product Manager to own product execution for one or more capability areas within ZAIDYN Field Incentives. This person will work closely with IC domain leads, engineering, AI/ML, design, client success, and directly with client-side IC and commercial operations teams to turn business requirements and agent opportunities into detailed, buildable specifications — and see them through to adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Own the requirements and delivery roadmap for one or more IC capability areas (e.g., plan design, sales crediting, eligibility and roster management, data prep and reconciliation, goal-setting, or field inquiry/support)
  • Translate high-level business and client requirements into detailed, engineering-ready requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with AI/ML and data engineering to scope agent-enabled features within your capability area: define the job to be done, tool and data access needs, evaluation criteria, and audit/traceability requirements
  • Conduct discovery directly with client IC and commercial operations stakeholders to identify pain points, validate requirements, and prioritize backlog items
  • Conduct requirements review sessions with engineering, design, and client success; manage and track requirement changes through delivery
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies, providing clarity on requirements, resolving ambiguity, and signing off on acceptance criteria
  • Work with architects and senior engineers to understand platform components, data models, and integration points relevant to your area, and how changes to them affect IC calculations, reporting, and compliance
  • Support integration requirements with upstream and downstream systems relevant to IC (e.g., CRM/Veeva, alignment and roster feeds, sales data/Rx feeds, HR systems, MDM)
  • Understand core IC data foundations — Rx (TRx/NRx/NBRx), claims, specialty pharmacy, sample data, alignment files — well enough to write correct, unambiguous requirements and evaluate downstream impact
  • Track and monitor agent feature performance in production (e.g., accuracy, cycle-time reduction, deflection rate, FTE-hours saved) and feed learnings back into the roadmap
  • Support new client implementations and migrations by ensuring capability design and documentation translate cleanly for professional services teams
  • Communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and risks clearly to peers, engineering leadership, and client stakeholders
  • Contribute to and, where relevant, help mentor junior product managers or analysts on the team
  • Represent your capability area in internal roadmap reviews and, as needed, in client or industry-facing conversations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, a technology discipline, or equivalent practical experience; MBA or advanced quantitative degree a plus
  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS or enterprise software product management experience, ideally in life sciences, healthcare, or a related regulated vertical
  • Working knowledge of incentive compensation concepts (plan design components, crediting, quota/goal-setting, eligibility/roster management) or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in a complex domain
  • Exposure to life sciences commercial data foundations — Rx (TRx/NRx/NBRx), claims, specialty pharmacy, sample data, alignment files — is a strong plus
  • Practical understanding of how AI agents are built: tool use, retrieval, orchestration, and evaluation harnesses, and a pragmatic sense of where agents help and where human-in-the-loop is required, especially in regulated, audit-sensitive workflows
  • Comfortable writing detailed, engineering-consumable requirements and user stories in an agile environment, and defending design decisions to architects and engineers
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, design, data science, professional services, and client success
  • Experience engaging directly with client IT/operations teams to elicit and validate detailed requirements
  • Familiarity with system integration patterns (APIs, ETL, data contracts) relevant to enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data — able to reason through calculation logic, edge cases, and data quality issues that affect IC outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate between business, technical, and client audiences
  • Additional Qualifications
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving ability; comfort with architecture diagrams, data flows, and detailed logic walkthroughs
  • Initiative and drive to own ambiguous problems end to end
  • Excellent organizational and task management skills across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Outward-centric mindset — grounding prioritization in customer feedback, usability studies, and measurable KPIs
  • Genuine curiosity about the agentic AI space and how frontier model capabilities are changing what's possible in enterprise workflows
  • Ability to work effectively across global, cross-office teams
  • Client-first mentality, intense work ethic, and a collaborative, problem-solving approach
  • Fluency in English
  • Client-first mentality
  • Intense work ethic
  • Collaborative spirit and problem-solving approach
