Business Technology
ZS’s Technology group focuses on scalable strategies, assets and accelerators that deliver to our clients enterprise-wide transformation via cutting-edge technology. We leverage digital and technology solutions to optimize business processes, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation. Our services include, but are not limited to, Digital and Technology advisory, Product and Platform development and Data, Analytics and AI implementation.
What you’ll do:
- Configure and support Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions such as Xactly, Varicent, or similar platforms based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop compensation calculations, workflows, components, and plan configurations aligned with defined business rules.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to understand requirements, contribute to solution design discussions, and support implementation activities.
- Create and maintain business and technical documentation, including user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and training materials.
- Analyze data, business rules, and operational processes to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Write and execute SQL queries to support data extraction, validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and reporting activities.
- Support data integration, transformation, and quality assurance processes across SPM and related technology environments.
- Develop and execute test cases, perform quality checks, document defects, and support system and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT).
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and cross-functional team discussions, capturing action items and ensuring successful follow-through.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer, end-user training, and post-go-live support activities.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS or related field with academic excellence
- Approximately 2 years of experience in technology consulting, business analysis, data analysis, enterprise applications, commercial operations, Sales Performance Management (SPM), Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), Sales Planning, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and business processes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting system implementations, software configuration, application development, or similar technical initiatives.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and system configurations.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in global and client-facing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, business domains, and enterprise platforms quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to manage assigned responsibilities with guidance and support.
- Experience with SPM/ICM platforms such as Xactly, Varicent, SPIFF, or similar solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with incentive compensation concepts including quotas, crediting, attainment, and payouts is preferred.
- Exposure to reporting and data platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, AWS, Qlik, or related technologies is a plus.
- Consulting experience, client-facing exposure, or relevant platform certifications are highly valued.
