What You Can Expect

Responsible for representing, promoting and selling ZB technology products to clients within assigned territory, this position is focused on developing strategies to grow sales aligned with corporate growth plans. In this role, the Sales Specialist regularly reviews results, status updates and business issues with their manager and/or Sales leader who provides coaching and development to support achievement of company goals.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Develops annual business plan in partnership with Sales Manager and provides quarterly updates, to ensure accomplishment of established targets and goals for assigned product line within your assigned territory.
  • Executes Business Plan by aggressively implementing tactical actions including: prospecting and meeting with new targeted customers to convert business and meeting with current customers to successfully maintain relationships and provide value added services which meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Identifies issues, analyzes market trends and regularly assesses the competitive environment and forms tactical plans to address opportunities for assigned product brands.
  • Grows and maintains a high level of product category knowledge, utilizing company resources to achieve expected results, including: educational programs and services, marketing tools, site visits, videos, etc.
  • Maintains detailed customer records to ensure effective follow up. Prepares various presentations, proposals and promotions to meet customer expectations.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures including but not limited to, Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance policies, Travel and Expense policies, etc. Stays up to date on required trainings.
  • Works effectively with internal colleagues and provides feedback on Customer Service, Marketing, Sales Training and Administration, and Human Resources concerns.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Demonstrated integrity with high ethical standards and practice.
  • Ability to utilize a laptop computer with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and flexibility in executing plans and addressing issues.
  • Must be well-organized and prepared with ability to develop thoughtful plans and execute on those tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Must be highly accountable and resourceful, demonstrating characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities.
  • Understanding of the sales and marketing functions.
  • Demonstrated consultative sales process experience with formalized sales training preferred.
  • Orthopedic sales knowledge, including technology, preferred.
  • Knowledge of competitor’s products and strategies preferred.
  • Understanding of how to identify market trends.
  • Must have current/active state issued driver's license.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, marketing, or sales preferred.
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Travel Expectations

  • Up to 50%

This role has a base salary range of $71,000-$89,000
