What You Can Expect
The Quality Enginee is an entry level position responsible for assuring products conform to established requirements and standards through appropriate audit, inspection, and test activities. Interacts with many different functional departments, suppliers, and experts outside Zimmer Biomet to implement Zimmer Biomet Quality goals.
Work Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)
Shift Timing - 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
How You'll Create Impact
- Perform CAPA investigations as assigned.
- Conduct product evaluations in a timely manner to support complaint investigations; Verification of product intended use, product related risk, probable root cause.
- Maintain and analyze department data; perform statistical analysis and identify the need for escalation and/or opportunities for improvement.
- Carry out effective resolution when tasked with difficult or unexpected situations in the workplace, as well as complex business challenges.
- Assist in establishing efficient and streamlined processes across the department.
- Assist in management and assessment of compliance to external standards within the quality management system.
- Provide support to Quality Department as requested and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Process engineering changes and support product development in design changes
- Other duties as assigned.
What Makes You Stand Out
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR 820/ISO13485 and other government/ISO standards preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries.
- Medical device experience preferred.
- Experience with windchill preferred
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite and Adobe).
