What You Can Expect
This is a central role in EMEA IC COE Team that will oversee, manage, and execute a variety of intercompany activities. The individual in this role will own activities ranging from preparing and executing IC Service Recharges and accruals, IC balance sheet account reconciliation to IC month-end-close tasks and of IC disputes and out-of-balances resolution. EMEA IC Sr Analyst will have a deep understanding of intercompany processes and possess strong problem-solving skills. The individual in this role will be in contact with Country Controllers, Corporate Accounting Team, Tax and Treasury and other GBS COE Teams.
How You'll Create Impact
- Responsible for Intercompany Period End Close for entities in scope: Identify and resolve problems/issues accrued or adjusted during the month-end close, and address issues. Manage Intercompany out of balances.
- Intercompany Reconciliation: reconcile intercompany GL account balances between various entities to ensure that transactions are properly recorded and eliminate any discrepancies. This involves comparing transactions recorded by different entities and resolving any differences or inconsistencies.
- Timely preparation and execution of Intercompany Service Recharges, IC Accruals and Adjustments.
- IC JE postings, review and approval process.
- Control and Compliance: Execute requirements for SOX controls and compliance reporting. Ensure all intercompany activities adhere to company policies and financial regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct GRIR analysis, reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
- Process trade and non-trade invoices.
- Monitor Idocs and other automatic flows.
- Ensure other GBS finance (ITC, ITC, PTP, Treasury, Tax) processes are incorporated and followed, updated and monitored for maximum efficiency,
- Oversee and coordinate the TP adjustment process prepared by Tax Team.
- Support Internal and External Audit & Tax Teams with audit samples, transaction analysis & reconciliation.
- Provide necessary IC reporting.
- Maintain required documentation (Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Desktop Procedures, and Training Records).
- Execute process improvements, technology implementations, and automations to streamline the efficiency and effectiveness of the EMEA Intercompany Process.
- Perform other operational tasks assigned by Supervisor;

Your Background
- Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience required in finance or accounting.
