About this role

  • Create and implement innovative marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
  • Create and generate content for various medium, including social media, website, and email campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize the company's social media platforms, engaging with customers and building a strong online presence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and foster loyalty among existing ones.
  • Plan and attend events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase our products and services and facilitate network opportunities.
  • Assist with the application for government projects via the gojep portal.
  • Assist with monitoring container modification project budgets to ensure overall cost efficiency, profitability and that projects are completed on time.
  • Provide administrative support and oversight to various marketing and sales meeting activities of the department.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Promote our diverse business segments, including container homes and modification units, through targeted sales campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and management of the marketing and sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing and Project Management.
  • Experience in promoting unique business segments.
  • Experience in the shipping and logistics industry is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability in event planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of the Jamaican logistics market is an advantage.
  • Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
