About this role

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a full-time Parts Counter Sales and Warehouse to serve our customers. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth. Responsibilities:

  • Provides superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone to customers
  • Helps customers determine correct parts needed, verify availability, and make recommendations
  • Determines the correct parts and their availability, and completes parts orders
  • Determines the supplying facility and mode of transportation for parts shipment
  • Enters proper shipping information into the parts ordering system to process the order and generate an invoice
  • Processes backorders, returns, and exchanges
  • Assists their team with group and team sales, providing a link and collaboration between different departments during the sales process
  • Communicates with customers for sales, follow-ups, and addressing potential issues
  • Parts stocking, pulling, and Inventory counts
  • Build/Assemble - Hydraulic hose assemblies (we will train)
  • Work collaboratively on a team

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2 year degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel engine and construction equipment, or automotive parts or service
  • Basic computer skills (navigation, searching) and Microsoft Outlook (email)
  • Good communication skills including, telephone and in-person
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Personal characteristics: Dependable, attention to detail, positive attitude, efficient, team player, and problem solver
  • This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement

  • Push/pull up to 10 lbs
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs
  • Lift bulky objects
  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping – able to use bolt box.
  • Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 to $28.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
