Mission
At Zelestra Latam, we are looking for a Treasury Specialist – Peru to join the Regional Finance team, based in Lima. The position’s main responsibility will be to coordinate and carry out all local treasury-related activities and associated administrative processes, as well as provide support to the other countries in the region in these areas. All of the above must be performed in accordance with applicable regulations, Company policies, Compliance guidelines, and the standards established by the organization.
Responsibilities
- Process payments to suppliers and third parties in compliance with the Company’s policies and controls.
- Manage and administer short-, medium-, and long-term bank guarantees for the business across the region.
- Support the planning of short-, medium-, and long-term treasury requirements for the region and its subsidiaries, including loans, credit facilities, working capital financing, and treasury investments.
- Support Corporate Treasury in the optimal allocation of the Group companies’ financial resources.
- Support the negotiation and arrangement of the financial products required by the region at any given time.
- Support the negotiation of guarantee facilities and/or surety bond policies for the Group’s contractual obligations.
- Manage foreign currency purchases and sales, international payments, and investments of surplus cash.
- Support the Corporate Insurance department with current policies, renewals, and claims.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in treasury roles within multinational companies.
- Proven experience in the energy, construction, or essential services sectors.
- Experience managing banking, tax, and other relevant platforms.
- Knowledge of issuing and managing bank guarantees, letters of guarantee, and insurance policies.
- Knowledge and experience in cash flow analysis.
- Intermediate English proficiency is required.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of the SAP FI module is required.
