Your Role
As Project Manager Connect-In, you will be responsible for the successful execution of machine connection projects for both new production facilities and equipment relocation projects.
Your key responsibilities include:
Preparing technical specifications and managing the tendering process.
Reviewing and evaluating technical proposals and negotiating contracts with internal and external service providers in close collaboration with the Procurement department.
Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to the approved budget for connection works in cooperation with project sponsors.
Coordinating and managing external contractors and service providers.
Supervising construction and installation activities, conducting regular shopfloor inspections and managing project changes.
Inspecting and accepting completed work as well as reviewing and approving invoices.
Collaborating closely with project managers from Production, Engineering and Infrastructure to ensure effective interface management and technical alignment.
Your Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) or a comparable qualification.
2–3 years of professional experience in construction project execution or the installation and connection of complex production systems, with strong project management expertise.
Experience in supplier negotiations, coordination of internal and external service providers, and cost controlling for construction or industrial projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital planning tools such as AutoCAD.
Independent, accountable, and deadline-driven working style, combined with strong moderation, coordination and teamwork skills.
High level of commitment, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to respond quickly and in a structured manner to unforeseen situations.
Excellent communication skills in German and English, with a strong affinity for working on the shopfloor and construction sites.
