What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to lead capacity planning initiatives that ensure efficient, scalable, and cost-effective operations. This role is pivotal in aligning production capacity with demand forecasts, optimizing resources, and driving strategic improvements across multiple manufacturing environments. As a central figure connecting operations, supply chain, engineering, and leadership, you will build the backbone for seamless production and supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Capacity Modeling and Analysis

    • Develop, own, and evolve detailed finite capacity models across multiple value streams (e.g., SMT, assembly, testing) to align with demand forecasts.

    • Conduct advanced scenario modeling to proactively assess and mitigate risks related to demand fluctuations, resource constraints, and new product introductions (NPI).

    • Analyze capacity utilization, throughput, and efficiency data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Execution

    • Serve as the key liaison between Technical Operations, Global Planning, suppliers, and leadership to ensure capacity plans align with strategic business objectives.

    • Lead capacity planning for NPI and factory ramps, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing to ensure operational readiness.

    • Communicate capacity risks, trade-offs, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

  • Continuous Improvement and Optimization

    • Drive process improvements in capacity planning methodologies, tools, and systems to institutionalize best practices.

    • Lead debottlenecking initiatives—including capital investments, shift model changes, and process optimizations—to improve throughput and efficiency.

    • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and industrial engineering methods (e.g., takt time design, time studies) to optimize factory performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: 8+ years in capacity planning, production planning, supply chain, or a related manufacturing operations role. Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is highly desired.

  • Languages: Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in data analysis, modeling, and visualization using tools like Excel and Power BI.

  • In-depth understanding of cycle time modeling, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and factory control systems.

  • Knowledge of industrial engineering methods, including Lean Six Sigma, takt time design, and time studies.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics, predictive modeling, or machine learning applications in a manufacturing or supply chain context.

Professional Competencies:

  • A proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional planning initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership.

Benefits:

We understand the importance of work-life balance and wellbeing, which is why we offer flexibility for our teams including: hybrid work, adaptable hours, Summer Flex Fridays, Focus Fridays, and an annual companywide well-being day to promote revitalization and success.
