About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our growing Finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payment processing, and reliable financial reporting.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to support month-end closing activities, financial analysis, audits, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Account Reconciliation
  • Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and other financial records.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and outstanding items.
  • Ensure accounting records, supporting schedules, and documentation are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
  • Maintain organized finance documentation and records in compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.
Payment Processing & Accounts Management
  • Prepare and process payments in accordance with company policies and approval workflows.
  • Review invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment-related queries and issues.
  • Ensure all payments are processed accurately and within established timelines.
Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare financial schedules, management reports, and supporting analyses.
  • Conduct variance analysis and investigate significant fluctuations in financial performance.
  • Assist in preparing financial information required for management decision-making.
Audit, Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Support internal and external audit exercises by preparing required documentation and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives, process enhancements, and system implementation projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Finance Manager on accounting and finance matters.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to support business and operational requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc finance related assignments and projects as required by management.
Education & Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in month-end closing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in a regional, shared services, or multi-entity environment will be an added advantage.
Technical Competencies
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, or financial management platforms.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
Language Requirements
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is preferred, as the role involves reviewing and handling finance-related documentation and communications in Mandarin.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) for reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
