Transformation Programme Director

About this role

Company Description

Zayo Europe’s journey has been guided by an aspirational vision for connectivity. Our founders were veterans of the companies that constructed the earliest backbone of the Internet. They understood that truly putting “the world” on the World Wide Web would require connections, lots of them. Zayo formed in 2007 with Zayo Europe becoming a standalone company in 2024. We are now a market leader in operating and managing fibre networks.

Zayo Europe is seeking a Transformation Programme Director to lead delivery of the European Quote to Cash programme while acting as the key bridge into the wider IT transformation programme. The role will ensure Q2C delivers first as an interim transformation project, creating the process, data, and operational foundations required to support the longer-term IT Transformation future-state design.

The role will drive business transformation and process change management by planning, impact assessment, stakeholder and SMEs engagement, training, adoption and deployment.

The successful candidate will manage delivery of multiple workstreams across sales, delivery, engineering, customer support and corporate functions, ensuring each workstream has clear scope, ownership, milestones, risks, dependencies, and outputs. A key focus will be progressing these workstreams to a level of maturity where they can be translated into structured Zayo Europe requirements for the end state IT Transformation Programme.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, strategic IT teams, programme leads, process owners, and transformation teams to ensure that current Q2C improvements, temporary workarounds, process revisions, data transformation needs, and Europe-specific requirements are captured, governed, and fed into the IT Transformation Programme.

The successful candidate will be a strong cross-functional leader, with excellent stakeholder management skills and business process transformation experience. Telco or similar IT service delivery experience will be beneficial.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance and 401(k).

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
