 Position Summary:

The Katz School of Science and Health is seeking a Clinical Director for our Nursing Program. Reporting directly to the Senior Associate Dean, the Clinical Director works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators to advance the Nursing Program’s mission.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Nursing Assessment Reports
  • CCNE accreditation, ongoing undergraduate and new graduate program requirements
  • Curriculum work for new AACN Essentials for Nursing Education
  • Continued support in Clinical Affairs and Clinical placement attainment

Experience & Educational Background:

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree required (PhD, EdD, or DNP).
  • A research doctorate is required for tenured candidates.
  • Qualify for a minimum academic appointment of Associate Professor (tenured) or Full Clinical Professor (non-tenure track).
  • Current/unencumbered New York State RN license.
  • Five (5) years of recent full-time nursing leadership experience.
  • Experience in Nursing Program curriculum, evaluation, and accreditation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with continuing professional development and interprofessional education. 
  • Experience with scholarship and grant acquisition.
