About this role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and capture a content creator's personality, mood, content, community and other defining features into a 2D collectible
  • Quickly create initial concepts and effectively incorporate feedback into following iterations
  • Interpret your 2D concept into turnarounds to prepare for 3D modeling
  • Assist our 3D modelers by making supplemental 2D assets
  • Meet design deadlines


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in concept art/drawing/sketching
  • Strong experience using Photoshop, Illustrator or Procreate
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and problem solve
  • Strong understanding of art fundamentals:  colour theory, perspective and proportions
  • Visual development best-practices: roughs, silhouettes, lineups. 
  • Excellent visual eye and attention to detail


Bonus Points

  • Experience with 3D Programs such as Maya and Z-Brush
  • Experience with traditional art such as painting or sculpting
  • Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation or a related discipline
