About the Role

As a Senior Network Architect, you'll play a key role in helping enterprise and public sector customers transform and modernize their Cisco Enterprise Networking environments.

Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you'll guide customers throughout the complete lifecycle - from strategy, architecture, and solution design to technology lifecycle refresh, network modernization, implementation, optimization, and continuous service improvement.

You’ll play a key role in Enterprise Network transformation initiatives, helping customers modernize their infrastructure through technology lifecycle refresh, Software-Defined Access (SD-Access), Enterprise Wireless, Zero Trust, network segmentation, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AI-driven operations.

You'll also advise customers on technology lifecycle planning, including End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) strategies, as part of broader modernization and transformation initiatives.

As part of this journey, you'll help customers adopt a lifecycle-driven operating model by leveraging automation, AI-driven operational insights, and lifecycle management capabilities such as Cisco CX Cloud and Cisco Insights to improve visibility, optimize operations, reduce risk, and maximize the value of their Enterprise Networking investments.

Beyond customer engagements, you'll contribute to the continued evolution of our Enterprise Networking practice by developing reference architectures, technical standards, reusable consulting services, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions.
• Advise customers on modernization strategies, lifecycle planning, and technology roadmaps.
• Design Enterprise Routing & Switching, Enterprise Wireless, and Software-Defined Access (SD-Access) solutions.
• Deliver High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), migration strategies, and implementation documentation.
• Lead architecture workshops, technical design reviews, and executive customer advisory sessions.
• Drive network modernization, Zero Trust, segmentation, automation, and operational improvements.
• Develop reference architectures, reusable consulting services, and technical standards.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of our Enterprise Networking practice.

 

Required Skills & Experience

We're looking for an experienced Network Architect with a solid background in Cisco Enterprise Networking and customer-facing consulting.

• Enterprise Routing & Switching
• Cisco Enterprise Wireless
• Software-Defined Access (SD-Access)
• Network segmentation and Zero Trust
  
  

Enterprise Infrastructure

• Cisco Catalyst platforms
• Cisco Catalyst Center
• Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Cisco Meraki
• High availability and robust network design

Automation & Consulting

• Network automation using Python, APIs, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Enterprise architecture, customer advisory, and technical workshops.

 

Certifications

Relevant Cisco Enterprise certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, Cisco Enterprise Infrastructure Specialist, Cisco Enterprise Wireless Specialist, Cisco DevNet, or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure are highly valued.

Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Additional Requirements

• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Danish security clearance.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Denmark.
