Laundry Attendant - Female

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and organise clothing, linens, towels and other household laundry according to fabric type, colour and care instructions.

• Handle delicate, luxury, designer and specialist garments with appropriate care and attention to detail.

• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, missing buttons and other issues before and after treatment, reporting concerns promptly.

• Use washing machines, dryers, steamers, irons, pressing equipment and other laundry appliances safely and effectively.

• Apply the correct detergents, stain removers, fabric conditioners and laundering methods for different materials.

• Press and finish garments to a high standard, ensuring clothing is presented neatly and ready for use

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant, Laundry in a luxury hospitality or private Residence

• Strong knowledge of garment care, fabric types, stain removal, washing techniques, ironing and professional pressing.

• Experience handling luxury, delicate, designer and formal garments is highly desirable.

• Ability to operate and care for commercial and domestic laundry equipment.

• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexible with working hours, including weekends, public holidays and extended hours when required by the residence.

• Previous experience in a VVIP residence, luxury hotel, palace or high-end private household is an advantage.
