About this role
Key Responsibilities :-
• Conduct continuous market, consumer, retailer, and competitor analysis.
• Identify product gaps and new business opportunities across export markets.
• Translate market insights into commercially viable product concepts.
• Lead seasonal and buyer-specific product collection development.
• Coordinate with design, sourcing, production, and quality teams.
• Develop structured sampling plans based on commercial potential.
• Track sample performance and incorporate buyer feedback.
• Support sales and NBD teams with product recommendations and presentations.
• Lead cross-functional execution and mentor junior merchandisers.
• Drive process improvements that reduce waste and improve speed-to-market.
Requirements
Qualifications:-
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, Product Design, Business, or related field.
• 8–15 years of merchandising and product development experience in export businesses.
• Strong understanding of international retail markets.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, communication, and leadership skills.
