Description

Work in collaboration with the Health Living Director in an effort to inspire and transform lives through healthy living and innovative wellness programming. The Parkway YMCA is seeking dynamic, motivated, energetic Certified Personal Trainers who will focus on member engagement, satisfaction and retention by building relationships so that members become connected and feel part of the YMCA family.

Hours will include weekends, mornings and evenings. We are seeking Certified Personal Trainers with knowledge of and experience working with women’s health issues, older adults, and chronic diseases.



Key Responsibilities


· Must maintain all current Personal Training certifications including CPR.


· Work with the Healthy Living Director on maximizing Personal Training staff schedules


· Educate staff to deliver quality Personal Training programming.


· Promote and demonstrate Personal Training best practices.


· Maintain accurate Online scheduling records.


· Implement techniques to convert Intro sessions into Personal Training clients.


· Ensure Personal Training contracts are renewed on time and accurately.


· Work with Healthy Living Director in the hiring & firing of all Personal Trainers.


· Educate Personal Training Staff on Emergency Procedures.


· Manage and create the department's budget.


· Organize and approve all Personal Training staff payroll bi-weekly using ADP.


· Organize and attend Healthy Living staff meetings and/or special events/promos.


· Organize Small Group training.


· Implement opportunities for Personal and Professional growth of Personal Trainers
