Shift Hours : 10-7 PM General shift  and Work from office (all 5 days/week), should be available on call 24x7

Job Description:
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows OS and Linux (Centos, RedHat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
  • 6-8 years professional systems maintenance experience in Windows & Linux operating systems including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Windows & Linux servers including demonstrated expertise in performance tuning, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance
  • Proven experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting Linux/Windows on various hardware makes/models as well as in virtualized environments
  • Strong knowledge of SAN storage technologies.
  • Strong experience with system management tools, logical file systems, and server environments.
  • Experience with monitoring, metrics, and log aggregation and visualization tools (Nagios, Zenoss in particular)
  • Experience with the Unix CLI, debugging tools, and network stack.
  • Excellent knowledge of FTP, TCP/IP, LDAP, DNS, SNMP, SSL, IIS, AD, and IPSec.
  • Maintain Virtual environments, including on-premises (Hyper-V/VMware/OVM) and Azure/Oracle cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure - Azure or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Working knowledge of core networking, subnetting, Firewalls, and routing.
  • Implement and maintain configuration management and system hardening controls.
  • Perform automated and manual backup and restorative processes.
  • Functional knowledge of core network protocols such as TCP/IP, SSH, SMTP, NFS and DNS
  • Ability to write and edit scripts to automate regular operational tasks
  • Knowledge and experience with shell scripting
  • Solid understanding of Linux & Windows based operating system including paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, filesystem concepts (inode, clustering, logical partitions), etc. is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain detailed documentation.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exercise sound judgment in all areas of responsibility.
  • Must be creative and can look at problems from multiple vantage points.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizes workload, and successfully handles competing deadlines
