Description: We are looking for DB2 Systems
Programmer, who will be part of a Global team responsible for building,
configuring and maintaining the Bank’s mainframe systems. Currently we are
running the largest parallel SysPlex in the Nordic region. Our primary design
goals are service availability, efficiency and resilience, underpinned by the
architectural principle of cloned infrastructure, system configurations and
applications. Job Responsibilities o Maintain DSNZPARMs o Implement automated disaster
recovery mechanisms for Mainframe Database subsystems and associated third
party products. Participate in all
recovery coordination activities o Create & modify WLM
address spaces for stored procedures as needed o Database security management o Backup/Recovery strategies o Strategy Reviews o Scalability Analysis o Database Architecture design
strategy o Planning Database maintenance
window o Capacity planning o Monitor and troubleshoot DB2
address spaces for any potential issues o DB2 Database configuration
across difference Mainframe LPARs. o Prepare and execute
housekeeping strategies for the DB2 Catalog and Directory. o Implement security strategy
for DB2 via RACF. o Troubleshoot Level 3 DB2
Database issues. o Provide Level 3 support to
troubleshoot/resolve system level and application problems with DB2 Database
technologies and associated Third Party products – coordinate
escalation/intervention with vendor as necessary. o Strong experience of
installing, customizing and maintaining Mainframe DB2 and ISV products o Strong experience managing
Q-replication and IBM DB2 Data Analytics accelerator product suite o Strong experience working with large data
sharing SysPlex environment o Hands-on experience of managing system
operations, problem diagnosis, performance tuning in both system and
application arena o Good experience with IBM DB2
Utilities, Disaster recovery and system restoration · Install, upgrade and administer mainframe DB2 and DB2 related
tools software. · Assist with testing, implementation and installation of new or
improved systems, as well as product upgrades. · Good knowledge on DB2 migrations and upgrades for DB2 V12.1 and
V13.1 versions. · Good Knowledge on Problem diagnosis related to DB2 and their DB2
tools products. · Strong DB2 system programming skill, DB2 recovery, maintain system
objects and ZPARM parameter configuration. · Good knowledge of DB2 tools installation and upgrades for IBM
utilities, Broadcom products. · Experience in SMPE knowledge of RSU maintenance apply procedures. · Experience in JCL, ISPF, DB2 related products, WLM and stored
procedures · Knowledge of performance monitoring and troubleshooting DB2
issues. · Strong skill set must be needed on DB2 data sharing experience and
failover process. · Good knowledge of Disaster recovery of DB2 systems includes
traditional DR and flash copy DR. · Interact with ticketing tool remedy, service center and other
business support areas for problem escalations, resolutions, reporting and
coordination. · Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, team and
clients to continuously improve services. Provide 24*7 support if needed on
the project support. |
