Position: Senior Facility Engineer
Job Description:
The Senior Facility Engineer is responsible for leading factory utility infrastructure projects, facility expansion, CAPEX & OPEX implementation, and utility system optimization to support production growth, operational reliability, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Factory Projects & Infrastructure
- Lead utility infrastructure setup for new production lines, laboratories, and factory expansion projects.
- Coordinate facility modification works including layout changes, utility installation, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, contractor coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Utility System Management
Manage and optimize factory utility systems including:
- Electrical Distribution System, Fire Protection System
- HVAC: Chiller,AHU & Cooling Water
- Compressed Air (CDA) , Nitrogen System
- Water Supply & Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
- Industrial Exhaust & Ventilation
- Civil & Plumbing Building Infrastructure
- Engineering Design
- Review engineering drawings, utility layouts, and technical specifications.
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and engineering design reviews.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders for project execution.
- CAPEX & OPEX Management
- Lead CAPEX projects from concept to completion.
- Have knowledge and experience in operating and using OPEX properly.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQ, RFQ, cost estimation, and CER documentation.
- Monitor project budget, schedule, quality, and safety performance.
- Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement energy-saving and cost reduction initiatives.
- Support ESG, sustainability, carbon reduction, and facility optimization projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
- Compliance & Audits
Support factory compliance including:
- ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, FM Global
- Customer Audits, Government inspections
- Legal and environmental compliance
Qualifications
Key Qualification & skill:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Facility Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of Facility Engineering experience in electronics or multinational manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of factory utilities, M&E systems, and project management.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Good English communication, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
- Leadership and contractor management experience.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
