Job Description: The Service Washer is responsible for cleaning, washing, and preparing new and used vehicles for showroom display, service delivery, and customer pickup. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role within a dealership environment. We offer competitive compensation, paid training, and growth opportunities within automotive reconditioning.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, rinse, dry, wax, and buff vehicles to company and dealership standards
Clean interior and exterior glass surfaces
Vacuum, scrub, and detail interior surfaces including carpets, seats, and trim
Clean engine bays and compartments as required
Apply tire dressing and ensure wheel wells are properly cleaned
Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and chemicals safely and effectively
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Operate tools and equipment in a safe and compliant manner
Report safety concerns or vehicle damage to management immediately
QualificationsMust-Have Qualifications
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Punctual and dependable with consistent attendance
Ability to work in a shop/dealership environment
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work within established processes
Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive field
Reliable transportation to the designated dealership location
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive detailing, car wash, or dealership service environments
Experience operating pressure washers or detailing tools
Familiarity with vehicle cleaning chemicals and products
Experience working in production-based or team-driven environments
