Position Summary:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the receiving process within the warehouse. This role ensures the
accurate and timely receipt of goods, maintains inventory records, resolves discrepancies, and coordinates
with vendors and internal teams. The Manager is also responsible for managing the Receiving Team, ensuring
compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing process to improv efficiency.
Essential Functions:
• Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inspect and ensure all material received is undamaged.
• Oversee logging and organization of all material shipped and received.
• Communicate with PMs and field personnel about material received.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to plan/schedule receipt of freight.
Additional Job-Related Duties:
• Comply with federal and state law, regulations, and all Company rules.
• Participate in online and in-person training and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Any other job-related activities requested by immediate supervisor.
Education/Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift Certification.
• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience required.
Physical Requirements:
• This position involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• The position may also involve some repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and elbows.
Working Conditions:
• This position is normally performed in a jobsite work environment which does subject the employee to the elements.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud, and hearing protection may be required.
• This position requires a flexible schedule, periodic overtime, and overnight travel as needed.
