Retail Store Manager (Wslala)

Wslala is a specialty store offering a wide range of toys, stationery, accessories, and cute character products. We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Store Manager to lead our team at our Los Cerritos Center location and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop a team of sales associates
• Drive sales performance and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met
• Manage inventory, visual displays, and store presentation
• Monitor and control operating costs, shrink, and loss prevention
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and California labor laws
• Handle customer escalations and resolve issues professionally

Qualifications:

• [2-4] years of retail management experience (or similar leadership role)
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with POS systems, inventory software, and basic reporting tools
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; mall hours may vary seasonally
• High school diploma required; [Bachelor's degree preferred/a plus]
• Reliable transportation to the Cerritos area

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $70,000
• Medical, Dental and Vision (First day of the month following the completion of 90 days of employment)
