Position Summary
Worley Canada Construction is a leader in industrial construction in Alberta and western Canada. Worley Canada Construction Is seeking Level 2 Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality team.
Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta
Project: Inter Pipeline – Heartland Petrochemical Complex
Schedule: 9/80
The Level 2 Quality Control Inspector is responsible for providing field inspection and verification services to ensure that maintenance and turnaround work is executed in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans, project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection coverage across active work fronts to verify compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans and quality requirements.
- Conduct visual inspections and witnessing field testing activities to confirm that work meets specified requirements prior to turnover.
- Support activities such as pressure testing, equipment reinstalls, and repair validations in a maintenance and turnaround environment.
- Identify non-conformances, supporting corrective actions, and maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Proficient with documentation ( ie, various reports, logs, test packages, certificates, DE, turnover documentation) and maintain documents current and up to date.
- Work across a rotating range of work scopes including routine maintenance, civil scopes, emergent repairs, turnaround preparation, and short-duration work packages.
Qualifications
Must have a valid Level 2 Quality Control Inspector certification.
Journeyman Red Seal certification is preferred.
Must have experience in industrial construction, or maintenance and turnaround environments within petrochemical, oil and gas, or related facilities, along with a strong understanding of quality control processes, inspection practices, and applicable codes and standards.
Strong coordination with site supervision, trades, and client representatives is required to support safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
This role is based at an active industrial site and requires working in a fast-paced field environment with frequent shifts in work scope and priorities.
Candidates must be able to work effectively in a dynamic setting while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.
