As Environmental Expert you are responsible to undertake the EMP implementation coordination, including supervision and reporting and its contractors’ performance against the environment safeguards covenants included in the ADB Loan Documents and the IEEs/EMPs. 

To succeed in this role, you should have 5 years’ experience in Environmental Management

What you’ll do

We are looking for Environmental Expert to join our team in Indonesia.

The role responsibilities include:

·        Responsible as Environmental Expert at least two similar projects and shall be fluent in English and conversant with GoI and ADB environmental guidelines and policies.

·        Provide design technology for pollution control and waste management, collecting and analysing environmental data, carrying out site assessments to determine environmental impact of commercial activity.

·        Conduct studying human influences on the environment. Improving environmental conservation management, including recycling, public health and water and air pollution

·        Able to identify critical research areas such as renewable energy, climate change and food and water security. Undertaking environmental protection projects such as designing air pollution management systems.

Compliance: 

  1. Support the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting continuous environmental performance improvement.
  2. Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by supporting the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in compliance with ISO 45001, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.
  3. Support the implementation and monitoring of the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) in accordance with ISO 37001, ensuring compliance with anti-bribery policies, due diligence, and promoting a culture of integrity and transparency.
  4. Employees are expected to comply with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System by following established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continual improvement. This ensures alignment with the organization's commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll have

·        5 years’ experience in Environmental Management

·        Having basic safety knowledge and able to implement safety process, near miss report and mitigate risk effectively in order safety working properly.
