Job Description:

Key Deliverables: Provide strategic leadership for the organisation’s fundraising campaigns, driving the conceptualisation and implementation of compelling, high-converting fundraising and brand-building strategies.


Integrated Campaign Strategy across Digital, F2F, Corporate, Communication and Retention teams.

Creative Campaign Concepts & Messaging for sponsorship, fundraising and seasonal campaigns.

Content Strategy for social media, videos, reels and donor communications.

Cross-functional Campaign Coordination ensuring consistent messaging across channels.

Donor Acquisition & Engagement through compelling storytelling and creative communication.

Campaign Innovation & Optimisation to improve reach, response and fundraising outcomes.

Brand-aligned Communication that strengthens visibility, engagement and resource mobilisation.


LEADERSHIP
Provide strategic leadership to the Campaigns Creative team and contribute to India Resource Mobilisation growth through compelling, donor-centric and high-converting campaigns.

Provide creative direction and leadership for the conceptualisation and implementation of integrated fundraising and branding campaigns.

Ensure campaign teams are aligned on common themes, messaging, creative direction and desired outcomes.

Drive innovation in campaign concepts, storytelling and creative approaches to improve donor engagement and fundraising outcomes.

Provide timely campaign performance reviews and strategic recommendations to strengthen effectiveness and decision-making.


STRATEGY
Develop integrated creative and campaign strategies aligned with fundraising, acquisition, retention and brand objectives.

Develop compelling campaign themes, narratives and messaging across Child Sponsorship, General Donations and seasonal fundraising campaigns.

Ensure creative strategies are adapted effectively across Digital, F2F, Corporate, Communication and Donor Retention channels.

Use audience insights, campaign performance and market trends to continuously strengthen creative and campaign strategies.

Develop strategies that improve donor acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention.


TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Provide creative direction and technical support for campaign concepts, messaging, content, videos, reels and other communication assets.

Develop clear creative briefs and ensure timely delivery of campaign assets across relevant channels.

Support teams in translating campaign strategies into effective channel-specific creative executions.

Ensure consistency of campaign messaging, storytelling and brand identity across all fundraising touchpoints.

Review campaign creatives and communication assets to ensure they are compelling, audience-focused and aligned with campaign objectives.

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Establish and maintain a repository of successful campaign concepts, creatives, content and learnings for future campaigns.

Document campaign insights, audience responses, creative performance and key learnings to improve future planning.

Share creative trends, fundraising insights and best practices with relevant teams.

Conduct post-campaign reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and replication of successful approaches.

Build institutional knowledge around effective storytelling, creative communication and campaign innovation.


INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL LIAISON AND COORDINATION

Ensure effective coordination with Digital Marketing, F2F, Private Non-Sponsorship, Corporate Fundraising, Communication and Donor Retention teams.

Align cross-functional teams around common campaign themes, messaging, creative direction and implementation plans.

Facilitate timely communication and collaboration to ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns.

Coordinate with external creative, media and production partners, where required, to deliver quality campaign outputs.

Build strong internal and external partnerships that enhance the organisation’s creative capabilities, campaign effectiveness and resource mobilisation outcomes.

KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Business Management or a related field.

Strong knowledge of integrated fundraising, marketing and brand campaign strategies.

Good understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing and media platforms.

Strong knowledge of creative development, storytelling, video and visual content strategy.

Understanding of donor acquisition, engagement, retention and fundraising conversion journeys.

Knowledge of campaign analytics, audience insights and performance measurement.

Innovation & Problem Solving – Ability to identify opportunities, challenge conventional thinking and develop effective solutions.

Execution & Accountability – Strong ownership of campaign delivery, timelines, quality and measurable results.


EXPERIENCE

10+ years of relevant experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, advertising or digital campaigns, with proven leadership experience.

Prior experience in nonprofit, INGO, fundraising, or cause-marketing environments strongly preferred; track record of building and optimizing full-funnel campaigns with measurable conversion outcomes
