Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $24.00

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tests on materials according to established protocols to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Record test results accurately; analyze data and prepare reports for review.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve testing methods.
  • Follow safety and quality standards while conducting tests in the laboratory.
  • Assist with the development and validation of new testing methods.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
  • Document all processes and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of testing activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred.
  • Basic understanding of material properties and testing methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and lab management software.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in a testing laboratory or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO/ASTM standards related to materials testing is desirable.
  • Experience in data analysis and report generation preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $24.00, based on experience and qualifications.
