Position Overview

The Store Associate supports all areas of daily store operations, helping deliver an efficient and positive shopping experience for customers. This role includes assisting with checkout, stocking merchandise, maintaining product quality, and keeping the store clean and organized. Store Associates work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities throughout each shift to ensure smooth store operations.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves and replenish merchandise throughout the store.
• Perform freshness checks in produce and refrigerated areas.
• Set up promotional displays and ensure accurate signage and pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the sales floor, warehouse, restrooms, and parking lot.
• Assist with inventory control and follow store safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily operational tasks.

Requirements

• Candidates with previous customer service, retail, grocery, or other related experience are preferred.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple store functions.
• Friendly, professional, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing 45 pounds or more and frequently reach above head height.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, team-oriented environment.

Pay Range

USD $20.50 - USD $23.50 /Hr.
