Job Summary:
Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks-based data engineering and data migration. The role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing scalable pipelines to move efficiently, transform, and manage data across platforms, with an emphasis on Databricks and modern cloud ecosystems.

Mode of Work: Full Time
Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data pipelines for migrating and transforming data out of Databricks.
Develop robust data ingestion frameworks for batch and streaming data from diverse sources (databases, cloud storage, both structured and non-structured data).
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
Optimize data workflows within Databricks using Spark, Delta Lake, and performance tuning techniques.
Manage and enhance the data analytics platform, ensuring high availability and scalability of pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Architects, Data Scientists, DevOps, Product Owners) to design and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Build and maintain data movement strategies across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Ensure proper testing, validation, and monitoring of data pipelines and environments.
Design and maintain data models and database schemas for both analytical and operational use cases.
Align technical implementations with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
Participate in Agile/DevOps practices, including CI/CD for data pipelines.
Technical Skills (including Agentic AI)
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala).
- Proven experience in data migration and data movement across platforms, especially into/out of Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP exposure is a plus).
- Knowledge of Delta Lake, data lake architectures, and big data processing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and data pipeline optimization.
- Experience with API integrations and distributed data systems.
- Solid grounding in database design, SQL, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
- Experience working in Agile/Lean environments.
