Senior/Staff Engineer (Specialty Integrity Programs)

As an Engineer Sr./Staff, you'll analyze quantitative pipeline risk results, develop and test integrity risk model algorithms, and transform pipeline data for ingestion into risk management platforms. You'll leverage AI tools and develop new digital capabilities to enhance risk analysis and operational efficiency while collaborating with engineers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to evaluate preventative and mitigative measures. Through data-driven insights and cross-functional teamwork, you'll help improve pipeline integrity, reliability, and safe operations across Williams' asset base
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Performs sophisticated technical tasks and leads teams in projects of major scope and complexity
Participates in the development and implementation of technical standards and specifications
Interprets technological aspects of business and coordinates with leaders to ensure success
Prepares and delivers presentations
Applies expertise, knowledge and experience from projects that positively impacts earnings
Collaborates with others to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs
Handles resources requirements for projects

Education/Years of Experience:
Engineer Sr:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification
Engineer Staff:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
Other Requirements:
- Able to work on engineering specialties covering more than one subject area
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
Preferred: Proficiency in Python
Preferred: Pipeline integrity data analysis experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Preferred: PE Certification
Preferred: Project Management experience
