EXPEDITION FLEET / CHIEF OFFICER SUBMARINE PILOT
About this role
Minimum requirements:
- Previous manned submersible pilot experience
- Must hold at least a Chief Mates Unlimited License
- Valid license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended.
- Great interpersonal skills and good team leader
- Excellent communication & reporting skills with fluent command in English
- Exceptional hand and eye coordination skills
- Ability to multitask under pressure, organized procedures/checklist minded orientated
- Mechanical & electrical understanding & appreciation
- Good references
Beneficial experiences:
- Experience as chief officer / safety officer onboard passenger vessels
- Polar waters experience – Ice navigation and expedition operations
- ROV pilot / operational experience
- Scuba diving qualifications
- Boat handling experience on small boats / tenders
