About this role

  • Two full-time opportunities
  • NSW Metro location with flexibility for community and external engagements

What's the role?

As a Digital Advocate, you'll help customers build confidence in digital banking by delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences both in branch and throughout the community. You'll work with customers who may be less digitally confident, helping them safely navigate everyday banking technology through workshops, seminars and personalised support.

This role goes beyond traditional branch support. You'll represent the bank at community events, partner with local organisations, and help create educational programs that make digital banking simple, accessible and inclusive for everyone

What do I need?

We're looking for someone who is passionate about helping people learn, enjoys engaging with diverse communities and can make technology easy to understand.

Key qualities include:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in customer education, training, coaching or community engagement
  • Confidence facilitating workshops and group learning sessions
  • Strong digital literacy and the ability to explain technology in simple terms
  • A customer-first mindset with patience and empathy
  • Ability to build relationships with community groups and local organisations
  • Creative thinking and a passion for developing engaging learning experiences
  • Adaptability and willingness to work across branches and community locations

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference in customers' lives by helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. You'll play a key role in driving financial inclusion while working with both branch teams and local communities.

Benefits of the role include:

  • The opportunity to positively impact customer confidence and financial wellbeing
  • A varied role combining customer engagement, education and community outreach
  • The chance to build strong community partnerships and networks
  • Professional development in facilitation, training and digital capability
  • A collaborative environment focused on inclusion and customer outcome
