Front Desk Agent – Job Summary

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent plays an important role in creating a warm welcome and delivering exceptional hospitality throughout the guest experience.

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing efficient and accurate check-in and check-out services, assisting with reservations and room assignments, processing payments, and responding to guest questions and requests. This position requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining a high level of service.

The successful candidate will work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are addressed promptly and effectively. The Front Desk Agent will also maintain accurate guest records, follow hotel policies and procedures, promote hotel amenities and services, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Basic computer skills; experience with a hotel property management system is a plus.

  • Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional while handling guest concerns.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 1st and 2nd shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
