JOB SUMMARY
This position will be ensuring product is being manufactured to meet the quality standards, overseeing their assigned area, and reporting any issues to the lead or supervisor immediately.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures

  • Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility

  • Feed the production lines by picking up product and placing them onto a conveyor

  • Perform daily safety checks on the Machine assigned to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Notify the Line Supervisor of any safety, quality, or maintenance problems

  • Move completed product onto a rack and perform visual inspection for defect before placing onto a pallet

  • Ensure the right amount of product is going onto a pallet

  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Basic mathematical skills (i.e., ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)

  • Effective communication skills

  • Team player, reliable and strong work ethic

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, required.

  • 1 Year general labor experience in similar setting (experience with roll formers, punch presses, brake presses preferred)

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

  • Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable

  • Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out

  • Prolong standing or in stationary position

  • Complete repetitive movements

  • Bend and/or twist

  • Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

  • Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection)
