About the role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will perform design drawings and calculations. You will apply the ASME Code to the design and perform analysis of primary equipment components (Steam generator, PRHR, and Pressurizer, Accumulation Tank, Core-makeup tank). You will author deviation and non-conformance reports to support fabricators of Primary Equipment.

 

You will report to the Manager, Nuclear Component Engineering, and be located at the Cranberry Township, PA headquarters. You will work in a Hybrid capacity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create design drawings and specifications to support component fabrication.
  • Support Component Fabricators with Fab Follow work such as Fab drawing, Material, and Weld document reviews. As well as supporting non-conformance and deviation reports.
  • Support larger generic projects that are developing the industry guidance and requirements for safe long-term operation of nuclear power plant primary equipment components.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, to be 58,400 to 73,000 per year.
