About the Role

 

As a Junior NDT Operator, you will join our Field Services business unit based in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) within the nuclear and industrial sectors.

 

You will receive comprehensive training in NDT methods and inspection techniques, including company-sponsored qualification and certification programs. Working alongside experienced operators and supervisors, you will participate in inspection activities at customer facilities while developing the technical skills and practical experience required to become a qualified NDT Operator.

 

You will report to the Field Services NDT Supervisor and be located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid. This is an onsite position with frequent national and international travel to customer facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare, verify, and maintain inspection equipment and tools required for NDT activities.
  • Participate in field inspections under the supervision of qualified NDT Operators and Supervisors.
  • Complete training and qualification programs in NDT methods, including internal and external certification pathways.
  • Support inspection teams in the execution of customer projects while following applicable quality and safety requirements.
  • Develop the knowledge and experience necessary to perform NDT Operator responsibilities independently.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Vocational Training (FP) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of English required for training, technical documentation, and international assignments.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently within Spain and internationally.
  • Residence in Madrid or surrounding areas, with regular attendance required at the San Sebastián de los Reyes office when not assigned to field inspections.
  • Previous experience in industrial environments, inspection services, or non-destructive testing is valued but not required.
  • Any prior training or exposure to NDT methods is considered an advantage.
