Brawley Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.
Schedule and compensation:
- Compensation: $15 - 19 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday–Saturday. Saturday coverage rotates approximately once per month — the practice is closed the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, so weekend commitment is minimal. No on-call requirements..

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 3+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience REQUIRED
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark, preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize on a busy shift
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
