Specialist for Global Sanctions, AML Compliance

Role Responsibilities

• Your main responsibility will be to conduct compliance analysis and enhanced due diligence (including consumer outreach) concerning the patterns and trends associated with money laundering, corruption and other potential risks related with Sanctions consumers.

• Another important part of your job duties will be evaluation of risk, related with Sanctions consumers and making the decision for approval/decline.

• As a Sanctions Escalations Team member, you would also be expected to work on projects and assist with requirements or enhancements to KYC Sanctions screening program, proactively identify and escalate issues or suggest improvements.

• Part of the job duties might also include assisting or leading training and support for new team members.

Role Requirements

• You would be required to have previous experience in AML Compliance field (sanctions and interdiction) as well as strong analytical, data collection, problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.

• Experience working with sanctions (OFAC – The Office of Foreign Assets Control) and interdiction procedures will be considered as an advantage.

• High consumer focus and strong communication skills are a must for the position.

• Experience in consumer outreach by email would be preferred.

• We expect candidates to have demonstrated proactivity and accountability.

• Fluency in English language (spoken and written).

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 1,531 – 2,041 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
